Random is as Random does

April 29, 2009 by Marj Hatzell

I’m anxiously awaiting my appointment for Monday morning, where I hope some light will be shed on my current condition. In the meanwhile, I can’t seem to organize my thoughts.  Y’all are the lucky recipients of my scatterbrain:

The sound of trees being cut down makes my blood run cold.  I mean it. I can’t stand listening to it.  I turn the music up WAY LOUD to try and block it out.  And why the heck are they cutting down trees in the rain anyways?

Allergies suck. Rain makes pollen go away.  Amen.

I really hope more people sign up for the family dinner dance on Friday.  I’m on the committee this time and I’m working my tush off.

I can do whatever I want today.  Nowhere to go. Nothing planned or scheduled. This is the greatest feeling in the world to me.

The make this great stuff to brighten your teeth up.  If your teeth are really yellow, give it a try. It works just fine.  And yes, I’m talking to you, people with gosh-awful-horrible stained teeth.  It’s pretty cheap.

American Idol.  Please go away.

I still don’t get Lost. Nor have I watched it. Ever.

You little sh*ts in second grade:  My kid actually thinks you are being nice to him and are finally including him.  We both know you are being mean, but he doesn’t.   I’m gonna tell your mom if you don’t quit it.

I’m gonna dye my hair today.  I can see grey.  I don’t wanna see grey.  Don’t worry, it’ll be the same exact color it always is.  And my husband probably won’t notice.

I still haven’t heard from our #1 choice for Bugaboo’s school.  I am getting nervous.  He has been accepted to #2, but we don’t really want him to go there, we just had to give them a few choices. PLEASEOHPLEASEOHPLEASE call!  ACK!

Bugaboo woke up dry. Again.  This time, he went right to the potty and used it!  YEAH!  We’re getting closer and closer. He was so proud of himself.

I need a date with my husband.  We barely get to talk or see each other.

I’m in the mood for heavy-duty potatoes but have homemade pizza planned for dinner.  Think it’s ok if I cheat?

I should go have lunch with a friend today. If I can find one that ain’t busy.

I am letting my mother spend and hour with my kids tomorrow. I hope I don’t regret it.

I’m going back to bed now.

I hate mean kids. Every day I panic about when my kid goes to school. I don’t believe in spanking, but he will get his ass properly kicked If he is ever mean.

In turn, I will teach him to beat up mean kids.

I’m glad you had a chance to relax and enjoy the day. I hope your doctor’s appointment gives you the answers you’re looking for.
