yYes, I’m participating in a meme. Yes, been tagged again. But I’m only doing it because people apparently want to know what’s in my purse. And I’m not tagging anyone. So there. :p

5 things found in my purse

  1. My planner. I never leave home without it. It has ever phone number, insurance code, appointment, e-mail address and list I could ever need. I write my menus in it, my shopping list, my to-do’s…it’s all in there. I’d be lost without it.
  2. These. ‘Nuff said.
  3. Altoids. Curiously strong. And I have curiously bad breath after eating so much garlic. Go figure.
  4. Burt’s Bees lip balm. Yummy.
  5. Sinus medication. Not that whimpy Phenyl-whatchamacallit, either. I use Pseudo ephedrine. The stuff you need to get behind the counter with your liscense in PA because you might be running a meth lab so they limit you to something like forty pills a month. It’s the only thing that gets rid of my migraines.

Five favorite things in your room

  1. My duvet. It’s so fluffy and comfy and squishy. Perfect for snuggling under on chilly winter nights. Down, of course!
  2. My closet. I have a walk-in closet. I don’t own enough clothes for a walk-in closet, so it also doubles as a place for extra linens, the file cabinet, the pile for Goodwill (this is always growing) and the dirty-clothes hamper.
  3. My linen collection
  4. My little purple friend (use your imagination. I’ll give you a hint: It takes batteries. Lots of them.)
  5. The Queen Mother Jade Plant

Five things you’ve always wanted to do

  1. Have a baby girl. Don’t think this one will happen, though.
  2. Go to Europe. But due to my extreme altitude sickness, getting on a plane to go there will be tough. Puke out the nose for seven hours? Not on your life.
  3. I wanna go to the Met. As in, the Metropolitan Opera House. You know, To see an Opera.Yes, I like Opera.
  4. I’ve never been to New York City. Never. Drove by, waved (look kids! BIG BEN! PARLIAMENT!)  but have never, ever been to the city that never sleeps.
  5. I’ve always wanted to learn the guitar. I regret not doing it sooner.

You’re supposed to tag five people, but I ain’t doing it. But I will leave you with my five favorite foods.

  1. Potatoes
  2. Mashed potatoes
  3. Potatoes with cheese
  4. Cheese with potatoes
  5. My husband’s home made ribs.

  1. Hey, no ice cream or cookies on your list?

I’m still waiting for my first trip to NY City, too. I’m also waiting to win the lottery so I can visit ALL of the places I haven’t had a chance to visit. Time and money…never have enough of both….and you need them at the same time.

  2. HG says:

We’ve held season tickets to the Philly opera previously and while I don’t think we’ll be subscribing for the upcoming season, you can betchabooty we’ll be going to Turandot.

  3. Jacki says:

Do those cup thingees really work? I get squeamish thinking about using those.

  4. whiskeychick says:

You do know that Big Ben isn’t in NYC, right? 😉

  5. I love the favorite foods. Ha. ha. I also like your list of things you’d like to do. I also want to learn to play the guitar. And see Europe. And I wouldn’t mind a girl. We’re like twins or something!

  6. Homemade ribs? I hope that we can have a PHL area meet-up again with the kiddies and hubbies and UC can try those. He’ll marry your hubbie. Trust me!!!
