Profit. Um. Well, in an intrinsically wealthy way. Like, on the inside and stuff. Ahem.
These acts will NOT protect people from piracy. What they do is give more govt control in an area where they need to keep their slimy little hands off. I don’t get all political and stuff often but this is one thing I feel strongly about. Not to mention, It could kill fun sites like LOLCATS. You don’t want to be responsible for killing cats and making baby kittens cry, do you? (The answer is no).
Protect the freedom of exchange of ideas, as the Internet was intended to be. Stop SOPA and PIPA now. Yes, you CAN make a difference. Just sayin’.

Ever have one of those days where you didn't get enough sleep, everything goes wrong at once, the kids cry and scream all day, you burn dinner, the tub overflows, the dog barks, the mailman knocks when you are in your pjs with no bra, your laundry is overflowing, your bathrooms need cleaning, you have fifteen phone calls to return, there is a pile of paperwork a month old and your husband got to the credit card bill first? Huh? Did ya? Me neither (maybe).

-music
-gardening
-eating
-sleeping at least eight hours
-my family
-my spoiled doggies

-Pr0n (unless I'm in it)
-Global Warming
-being a football/garage/Nascar/Hockey widow
-Cellulite
-Noise
-being alone

“do it for the LOLcats if nothing else” is possibly the best, most sensible, least hysterical argument i’ve heard in favor of getting involved in this. i am not particularly political on my blog, either, but i twittered (tweeted? whatever) to my congressman and senators and god and everybody today, because SOPA and PIPA are totally BAD IDEA JEANS. thanks for speaking out! (i mean, you know, about this – i am ALWAYS thankful you speak out about everything else.)
ps – i promise to comment more this year. it’s my stinkin’ resolution.
