You asked for it, I’m giving it to you. The floor that currently makes me happy:
The way it used to look (you prolly can’t see the stained carpet, holes and snot all over walls and you certainly can’t smell it, since they haven’t invented Smellovision, YET):
This is why I’m happy. Because I can use this to clean his room:
Any questions?

We have hardwood floors everywhere except the kids’ bedrooms.
Looking back, I wish we had just bitten the bullet and put them in the kids’ bedrooms, too. Their carpet is so disgusting and we’ve only lived here for 4 years.
I love your floors! You will love them, too!
Loooooove them. Love them. Have I mentioned? I really, really love them.
LOVE the floors. No need to worry about the smell – I know it well. I already put laminate in Luke’s bedroom and the living room. New carpet went in my bedroom. I have already started to pull it up. My question is — where is the wall art work?! I have been “blessed” with sharpy artwork in various rooms, even though I do my best to keep sharpies hidden.
O, the art work is another post. The only reason you don’t see it on this video is because we freshly painted his room. The art work was on the wall behind me that I didn’t show. LOL. And on the ceiling. Still trying to figure that one out. And on the hallway wall, and my wall, and the bathroom door…
Didn’t want you to miss out on exciting home decor
Looks great! You should totally partner up with the flooring people. Or the Swiffer people. Or, both! I’m sure you’ve just helped their sales out quite a bit with your posts! I know I can’t stop thinking about the possibilities, ever since I read what you’d done last week.
maybe they will send me samples?
Aaaaand I just realized he was drawing on the mattress and boxspring when I walked in the room to video him.
